PATH e-mobility

Within the broader context of the transportation industry’s shift away from vehicles powered by fossil fuels towards electric powered vehicles, PATH seeks to form a retail brand around the growing excitement and demand for ‘last mile’ e-transportation that is springing up in cities across the globe. Through their online store and physical locations, they will sell electric scooters, electric skateboards and even electric surfboards.

Casey Petersen

Casey is a 27 year old marketing executive at a Silicon Beach startup in Los Angeles. He is career focused and is constantly looking for ways that he can improve his routine to make the most of his day and find time for personal development. This includes reducing his daily commuting times; he often feels that he is rushing to work.

He enjoys the benefits of his startup workplace, which include meditation breaks and catered lunches. He is conscious of his environmental impact and while he currently does not own a car, he aspires to eventually buy a Tesla - in fact Elon Musk is one of his ‘heroes’.

He is fully engaged in the digital/ social economy and uses ride hailing apps like Uber and Lyft whenever he needs to travel around the city. He orders food using UberEats and Postmates several times a week, either at home or for when he is working late. Although currently single, he uses apps like Tinder and Bumble to set up dates when he has a free evening during the week.

He is into meditation, mindfulness and seeks to lead a minimalist, tech-centered lifestyle. Beyond his digital devices, he has little attachment to material objects. Social currency, building community and finding purpose is what drives him in his quest to ‘carve his path’.
